Payment Policy 

A  tuition deposit for full enrollment and any online or self-paced course enrollments are due at the time of enrollment. This deposit is non-refundable 72 hours after enrollment has been completed.  Books are sold separately. 

When calculating the annual fee, students are counted from the oldest to the youngest.  For example, if enrolling four students, grades 10, 8, 3 and Kindergarten, the high schooler is assessed as oldest, the 8th grader next, then the 3rd graderand the Kindergartner last.  

Forms of payment accepted: 

  1. Payment in Full: Visa, MasterCard, Discover 
  2. Payment Plans:
    1. Smart Tuition Management is available for Student Enrollment (full tuition) fees as well as any online our self-paced course fees.  Smart Tuition accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and ACH debit 
    2. Paypal payment plans are also availabe for online and self-paced course tuition fees.

Smart Tuition Management

If choosing a payment plan, enrollment in Smart Tuition management for the remainder of the tuition is required.  Payment plans of 2, 4, or 10 monthly payments may be chosen.  

FOR STUDENTS ENROLLED IN ONLINE COURSESif the monthly payment plan is chosen, the first payment is due the April prior to the start of the school year and runs through January of that same school year. If you sign up for the monthly payment plan after April, the remainder of your tuition will be distributed evenly among the remaining months of the plan. For example, if you enroll in classes on July 15 and choose the 10th of the month to start your payments, your first payment will be due August 10 will be distributed into 6 equal monthly installments ending January 10. All payment plans must be completed by January 31st.   

Smart processing fees are: 

  1. 2 payments: $20  

  1. More than 2 payments: $50  

If you choose the convenience of a payment plan, you are responsible for the remainder of the enrollment fees as outlined in our refund policy. 

General Policies 

  • All enrollment fees must be paid in full before enrolling for the next school year. 

  • Kolbe Academy reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service at their discretion. 

Full Enrollment Policies 

  • Home school full enrollments are accepted year-round.  Families choose when to start their school year. 

  • For enrollment purposes, a school year is a 12-month period.  

  • Re-enrollment is not automatic—families must fill out an enrollment form each year they wish to continue with Kolbe Academy. 

  • Second semester enrollment is available to NEW students ONLY (students not enrolled within the last 12 months). 

  • Full enrollment tuition includes a maximum limit of 8 homeschool course plans per student in grades 9-12 and 12 homeschool course plans per student in Grades 1-8.  No more than one course plan per subject is included in full tuition enrollment. 

  • Additional course plans are $39.99 each for grades 1-8 (excluding literature) and $49.99 each for high school. 

  • We encourage families to take full advantage of all assistance available to them during the course of their school year:  advisor advice, quarterly reporting, record keeping, etc.  

  • Full assistance enrollment does not require that a family use all the services available or curriculum materials provided.  It does, however, obligate the family to payment of the annual fee regardless of the assistance a family has needed or requested.  

Online Course Policies 

  • If your child’s status is changed to inactive, NO REFUND will be given. 

  • If your child is removed from a course for disciplinary action, no refund will be given. 

  • If your child is placed on academic probation, no refund will be given. 

  • Kolbe Academy does not guarantee teacher assignments in online courses. Should a staffing change need to occur after the start of the school year, we will communicate the change to parents as soon as possible. Staff changes are not considered a cause for a full refund and normal refund policies will apply.  
  • Kolbe Academy reserves the right to cancel a course or change a course schedule due to extenuating circumstances. If that should happen, you may receive a full refund for the course, including the non-refundable tuition deposit.  

  • Summer Courses: Kolbe Academy and/or the summer teacher may opt to cancel a course if there is less than 5 enrollments. If that should happen, you will receive a full refund for the course or a credit for another course, whichever you prefer. 

  • Changing a course will result in a $29 administrative course change fee if the change occurs 72 hours after the enrollment is complete. 

  • Kolbe Academy may use the recording of an online course for educational purposes.  The student’s written name and other personal information will be kept anonymous.
