Refund Policies

Full Enrollment Withdrawal and Refund Policy (Effective 3/9/20)

  • Please see our Terms & Conditions for additional policies.
  • If withdrawing within 72 hours of enrolling, a full refund will be given.
  • A portion of all enrollment options and courses include a deposit.
  • All deposits are to be paid at the time of enrollment as outlined below:

Full Enrollment Deposits:

Individual Course Deposits:

  • Online, Self-Paced, and Self-Paced Plus Courses = $75 per course 
  • Online Honors Seminar = $25 per course 
  • Dual Enrollment Courses = $150 per course 

If you choose to pay your tuition in full, the deposit is included in the amount and will be deducted from any refunds due. If you choose the convenience of a payment plan, you are responsible for the remainder of the fees. After 72 hours, the above non-refundable deposit will be retained and the following applies to the remaining tuition:

Full-Time Homeschool Refund Policy

  • Within 30 days of enrolling: 100% of remaining tuition (less the deposit) is eligible for a refund
  • Through November 30*: 50% of remaining tuition (less the deposit) is eligible for a refund
  • December 1 or later*: no refund
  • Spring Semester (one semester only): no refund

*Based on a school start date prior to October 1. All other school start dates will be adjusted accordingly.

Full-Time Online Refund Policy

  • Before September 8, 2020: 100% of remaining tuition (less the deposit) is eligible for a refund once all books are returned in new condition
  • From Sept. 9 – Nov. 30, 2020: enrollment in the equivalent self-paced course OR 50% of remaining tuition is eligible for a leave on account credit, valid for one year, for future registration
  • December 1 or later (Full year courses) February 2 or later (Spring semester): enrollment in the equivalent self-paced course with a $29 course change fee or no refund
  • Spring Semester (one semester only) Before February 1, 2021: 100% of remaining tuition is eligible for a refund

Online Summer Course Tuition

  • Before classes begin: 100% of remaining tuition (less the deposit) is eligible for a refund
  • After the 2nd day of class: no refund

Individual Online Course Refund Policy

  • Before September 8, 2020: 100% of remaining tuition (less the deposit) is eligible for a refund
  • From Sept. 9 – Nov. 30, 2020: enrollment in the equivalent self-paced course OR 50% of  remaining tuition is eligible for a leave on account credit, valid for one year, for future registration
  • December 1 or later (Full year courses) February 2 or later (Spring semester): enrollment in the equivalent self-paced course with a $29 course change fee or no refund
  • Spring Semester (one semester only) Before February 1, 2021: 100% of remaining tuition is eligible for a refund

Individual Self-Paced Plus and Self-Paced Course Refund Policy

  • Within 15 days of delivery*: 100% of remaining tuition (less the deposit) is eligible for a refund
  • 16 – 30 days after delivery*: 50%  of remaining tuition (less the deposit) is eligible for a refund
  • After 30 days: no refund
  • For Self-Paced Plus courses, all of the above policies apply. However, if any grading has been done, no portion of that fee ($150 for grades 7-8; $200 for grades 9-12) is eligible for a refund.

*Course delivery for Fall enrollments will be during the month of August. If enrolling off cycle, courses will be delivered approximately one week prior to your school start date.

Homeschool Plus Grading Service* (Formally known as EES)

If no work has been evaluated:

  • Before September 30: 100% of remaining fee (less the deposit) is eligible for a refund
  • Through November 30: 100% of remaining fee (less the deposit) is eligible for a credit to your account
  • December 1 – May 31: 50% of remaining fee (less the deposit) is eligible for a credit to your account
  • June 1 or later: no refund or credit
*Sample work for Homeschool Plus may be submitted between September 1 and June 30. If any work has been evaluated, refund/credit will be prorated based on samples used according to the above schedule.
