MyKolbe Account Access

MyKolbe accounts are required for online and self-paced students, as they allow online students to email their teachers and self-paced students to view videos in their Schoology Self-Paced courses.  The accounts are optional for homeschool students, but may be beneficial, as all students with accounts have access to downloading Microsoft Office on up to 5 separate devices during their tenure with Kolbe Academy.

When to Expect Student MyKolbe Account Access

If you are a parent to an online student, you will receive login information for yourself and your student(s) via email within 3 business days prior to the start of the online school year.

If you are a parent to a self-paced student, you will receive login information for yourself and your student via email by the “approximate school start date” listed on the student’s enrollment form.

If you are a parent to a homeschool student and you requested access to a MyKolbe account upon enrollment, you should receive login information for yourself and your student via email by the “approximate school start date” listed on the student’s enrollment form.  Homeschool parents are not required to utilize MyKolbe accounts for their students.  However, MyKolbe accounts may be requested for the student(s) at the time of enrollment, or anytime after.

 

Requesting MyKolbe Account Login Information

If you are a parent of a new student, you should receive login information by the time frame listed in the section above.  However, if you are not able to find an email with login information by the expected due date, you can submit a ticket to tech support or send an email to techsupport@kolbe.org.

 

Requesting a Password Reset for a MyKolbe Account

Homeschool
Homeschool parents should request a MyKolbe password reset by submitting a tech support ticket or emailing techsupport@kolbe.org.

Online & Self-Paced
Online and self-paced parents should first check with their students to see if the student can successfully log in to their Schoology Student account at the URL kolbe.schoology.com (NOT app.schoology.com).

If the student remembers their password for kolbe.schoology.com, then they are able to log in to their mykolbe.org account with the same password (student Schoology and MyKolbe accounts are linkedto each other).  If they are not able to remember their password for kolbe.schoology.com, parents (or students) should request a MyKolbe password reset by submitting a tech support ticket or emailing techsupport@kolbe.org.
