Logging in to MyKolbe

MyKolbe accounts are required for online and self-paced students, as they allow online students to email their teachers and self-paced students to view videos in their Schoology Self-Paced courses.  The accounts are optional for homeschool students, but may be beneficial, as all students with accounts have access to downloading Microsoft Office on up to 5 separate devices during their tenure with Kolbe Academy.

When to Expect Access to Your MyKolbe Account

If you are an online student, your parent will receive an email with login information within 3 business days prior to the start of the online school year.

If you are a self-paced student, your parent will receive an email with login information on or before the “approximate school start date” listed on your enrollment form.

If you are a homeschool student and your parent requested access to a MyKolbe account when they filled out your enrollment form, your parent will receive an email with login information by the “approximate school start date” listed on the your enrollment form.  Homeschool students are not required to utilize MyKolbe accounts.  However, MyKolbe accounts may be requested for a student by the parent at the time of enrollment or anytime after.

Logging In for the First Time

Online and self-paced students receive login information for mykolbe.org and kolbe.schoology.com via a welcome email sent to the parent’s email address on file with Kolbe.  These accounts are linked by a protocol called Single Sign-On (SSO).  This means that when you, the student, update your password on either mykolbe.org or kolbe.schoology.com, the password for the other site is automatically updated.

How to Log In to MyKolbe

Students login at the URL mykolbe.org.

If you are an online student, your parent will receive your login information via email within 3 business days prior to the start of the online school year.  If you are a self-paced student, your parent will receive student login information via email on or before the “approximate school start date” listed on the your Kolbe Academy enrollment form.

When visiting mykolbe.org, you will be taken directly to your MyKolbe homepage if you are already actively logged in at kolbe.schoology.com.  Otherwise, you will be taken to a Microsoft sign-in page.  If you are directed here, select the “Work or school account” option, then enter your mykolbe.org email address and password.

 

 

Requesting a Password Reset for Your MyKolbe Account

Request a MyKolbe password reset by submitting a tech support ticket or emailing techsupport@kolbe.org.

Online & Self-Paced Students

Before requesting a password reset, see if you can successfully log in to your Schoology Student account at the URL kolbe.schoology.com (NOT app.schoology.com).

If you remembered the password for kolbe.schoology.com, then you will be able to log in to your mykolbe.org account with the same password (student Schoology and MyKolbe accounts are linked to each other).
